Kaiser-Wells Pharmacy began in 1941 when John Kaiser Sr. partnered with Franklin Wells to open a store and pharmacy at 1 West Main Street in Norwalk. It remained there until 1973 when John Kaiser Sr. purchased property at 251 Benedict Avenue where the pharmacy is still located. John Kaiser Jr. assumed the reigns of the business in 1972 and his daughter, Lisa, joined the family business as a staff pharmacist in 1995. Today, Lisa Kaiser-Reer continues the three-generation family tradition as chief pharmacist.
In 2016, Kaiser Wells Pharmacy & Homecare and Fisher-Titus Medical Center came together to form Kaiser Community Pharmacy & Home Medical Equipment.
Together, Fisher-Titus and Kaiser Community continue the pharmacy’s decades-long tradition of serving the community with high-quality, personalized services. As “family” businesses, both Fisher-Titus and Kaiser embrace the philosophy of providing local residents with the best possible health care in the communities they call home.
A graduate of the Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy, Lisa brings years of experience to her roles as director of home care and pharmacist. She’s excited to continue to build upon the trust established between the pharmacy and its patients and to serve her community with the patient-centered philosophy area residents have come to know.
